Escort Interpreting
Escort interpreters accompany foreign dignitaries and business people who are in the U.S. on training programs or trade delegations. These interpreters provide interpretation for all aspects of the trip, virtually, around the clock. Escort interpreters are contracted directly by the business or entity that is organizing the visit; one large group of escort interpreters is contracted directly by the State Department of the United States Government. These interpreters must be contracted by the Office of Language Services of the Department of State in Washington, DC.
